Free Tax Prep

RSVP Partnered with AARP and the Vespasian Warner Library to offer free tax preparation in DeWitt County. This will be the fourth year to offer these services to the community. Services are offered twice per week during the tax season, Thursdays from 1:30 to 6:00 p.m. and Saturdays 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., beginning February 1st and running through April 11th, 2020.

Call the Vespasian Warner Library to schedule your appointment to get your taxes prepared at 217-935-5174. Walk ins are welcome but appointments will be completed first. Though our focus is on older and low-income persons, anyone is welcome to participate. You do not have to be a resident of DeWitt County to use these free services.
