yHomeless? Documentary highlight of National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week

The public is invited to attend a showing of the documentary, yHomeless?, and community panel  on the issues of homelessness in Macon County, Thursday, November 21, 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. at the Avon Theater in  Downtown Decatur.  This is one of the events in the community in recognition of National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week, 

Following the documentary, a panel discussion -  city leaders and individuals who have overcome homelessness -  share the most up-to-date information on homelessness and share the work being done by the Macon County Continuum of Care to provide services.  With this information, you can see how you can be a part of the solution.

The public is encouraged to attend.  Free Tickets are available at Homeward Bound, 788 E. Clay and Dove, Inc., 302 S. Union, in Decatur.

National Hunger & Homelessness Awareness Week is held each year the week before Thanksgiving to bring awareness of the issues of hunger and homelessness.  Sponsored by the Macon County Continuum of Care Homeless Advisory Council.
